Materials

Yarn:

Fine Weight Yarn Nazli Gelin Garden 5 (100% Egyptian giza mercerized cotton; 174 yards [160 meters]/50 grams): #500-52 (A, 1 ball), #500-73 (B, 1 ball), #500-63 (C, 1 ball), #500-61 (D, 1 ball), #500-74 (E, 1 ball), #500-62 (F, 1 ball)
Hook: US size B/1 (2.25 mm) hook
Notions: Tapestry needle, polyester stuffing

Pattern Notes

Each ball is worked in the round. Work all single crochet stitches through the back loop only.
Change colors using the fair-isle method. When changing colors, work the last step of the current stitch with the color of the next stitch.

Ball 1 Pattern

With C, beg with adjustable ring.
Note: Work all sc through the back loop only.
Rnd 1: Ch 1, work 6 sc in ring, join with sl st to beg sc (counts as Row 1 of Chart 1).
Rnd 2: Ch 1, work 2 sc in each sc around, join with sl st to beg sc (counts as Row 2 of Chart 1). (12 sc)
Rnds 3-10: Work Rows 3-10 of Chart 1, changing colors according to chart. (60 sc)
Rnds 11-24: Work Rows 11-24 of Chart 1, changing colors according to chart.
Rnd 25: With C ch 1, * sc in first 2 sc, with E sc in next 2 sc, with C sc in next sc, with E sc in next 2 sc, with C sc in next sc, sc2tog; rep from * around. (54 sc rem)
Rnds 26-33: Work Rows 26-33 of Chart 1, stuffing Ball with stuffing on Round 30, firmly. (6 sc rem) Do not break C.

Hanging Loop

With C ch 25, working through bottom bumps of chs, sl st in second ch from hook and each ch across. Fasten off. Sew end of Loop to top of Ball.

Ball 2 Pattern

With F, beg with adjustable ring.
Note: Work all sc through the back loop only.
Rnd 1: Ch 1, work 6 sc in ring, join with sl st to beg sc (counts as Row 1 of Chart 2).
Rnd 2: Ch 1, work 2 sc in each sc around, join with sl st to beg sc (counts as Row 2 of Chart 2). (12 sc)
Rnds 3-10: Work Rows 3-10 of Chart 1, changing colors according to chart. (60 sc)
Rnds 11-34: Work Rows 11-34 of Chart 1, stuffing Ball with stuffing on Round 30, firmly. (6 sc rem)
Do not break F.

Hanging Loop
