This project is destined to be the most used sweater in everyone’s handmade wardrobe this season! Utilizing a textured or boucle yarn, a sherpa-like fabric is created. In tandem with clever construction techniques, the finished project will look just like your favorite on-trend fleeces. Crocheted top down with a raglan style construction, the zipper is sewn on afterward and the optional furry texture is created after finishing by brushing the fabric with a fiber brush.

Pattern Notes
- This pattern is worked top-down starting flat, then joined in the round.
- A zipper is sewn in after blocking, and you may brush the fabric for a fuzzy texture (see finishing).
- The body and sleeves of the sweater are worked in a spiral, meaning there are no slipped stitches to finish each round. If a slipped stitch join is your preferred method, work a slipped stitch join into the beginning stitch of each round when the round is complete.

Finishing
Weave in all ends. Taking yarn needle and new yarn, seam the front of the sweater closed from the bottom of the join up to row 22, or to your preferred opening length. Block to finished measurements. Taking needle and thread, stitch zipper into place using backstitch. You may clip extra 1’’ of zipper on the bottom after stitching together. (Optional) Using a mohair or teasel brush, brush all over the outside of the sweater’s fabric to pull up fibers and give it a more fuzzy, furry texture.
