II have chubby upper arms. Could I simply follow the pattern for the sleeve only in the next larger size to allow more ease in the sleeve?

From the designer: It’s possible to make the sleeves in different size from the body since they are made in separate pieces. Just refer to the provided schematic to make sure of the measurements.

    Hi,
I love this pattern I am
Just having a little trouble with the neck line.
From the pics it looks like a definite V but the pattern asks for 5 stitches to be left.
    Can you clarify.

Having the same problem too- 5 st in middle, no V shape

From the designer: The 5 sts gap is due to the decrease pattern and number of sts needed for the shoulder in larger size(s), the model shown is in size S with less st skipped at the neck split. I would suggest to minimize the gap by adding extra 2 sts crocheted together with the original first/last st of the pattern on the first row of each neck split. That way there would only be 1 st gap.
For example, if the neck st is 1 dc, you could make dc3tog by working the extra 2 sts on the skipped sts between the neck opening. After that one row you can follow the pattern as it is.

Im confused right from the start. If I ch 117 or 129 I don’t end with the 2 dc like at the beginning so I don’t know how to end my first row. I have to be missing something as a beginner.

I’m confused by the instructions for the sleeves on the Michigan Mesh sweater. Is there a video tutorial available?

Can this be made with short or 3/4 sleeves? If so do you have the directions for that?

Hi Shreyl! “Yes, it can be made longer by working additional desired length to the body. Just pay attention on the hip area. If the measurement is too small, I would suggest to use bigger hook to work the lower part.”
      Happy crocheting! – Nicola, Editor
