Buttercrambe Wrap

Wrap yourself in a cozy shawl that emulates the colors of a fresh cappuccino. Dress it up or down depending on the occasion.

Skill Level: Easy

Size: 16″ wide x 88″ long after blocking

Gauge: Gauge for the wrap isn’t critical, but an even tension should be maintained throughout.
(1 sc, 1 shell, 1 sc, 1shell, 1 sc, 1 shell, 1 sc) and 12 rows measure 4″ x 4″ approx. before blocking.

Super fine weight yarnYarn: Cewec Delano Multi Brushed DK (5% alpaca, 5% mohair, 10% wool, 80% acrylic; 246 yards [225 meters]/50 grams): #2 Beige, Camel, Brown Multi (4 balls)
Hook: US size 7 (4.5 mm) hook
Notions: Tapestry needle

Special Stitches

Shell: [1dc, ch1, 1dc, ch1, 1dc] in same place.
V stitch: [1dc, ch2, 1dc] in same place.

Row 2: Ch 3, 1 sc in 1 st ch 1 sp of next shell, ch 3, 1 sc in 2nd ch 1 sp of same shell, ch 1, 1 dc in next sc, [ch 1, 1 sc in 1st ch 1 sp of next shell, ch 3, 1 sc in 2nd ch 1 sp of same shell, ch 1, 1 dc in next sc] across, turn.
Row 3: 1 sc in 1st tr, ch 1, [1 Vst in next ch 3 sp, ch 1, 1 sc in next ch 1 sp, ch 1, 1 sc in next ch 1 sp, ch 1] across, ending 1 Vst in last ch 3 sp, ch 1, 1 sc in 2nd turning ch, turn.

To block, pin to size, spray with water and leave to dry.
