Yarn: Patons Classic Wool Worsted (100% wool; 210 yards [192 meters]/100 grams): Dark Grey Mix (MC, 2 balls), Peacock (CC1, 1 ball), Grey Mix (CC2, 2 balls) – this is enough yarn for the entire three-piece set
Hook: US size H/8 (5.0 mm) hook

Pattern

Cuff

With MC ch 32, join with sl st to 1st chain (careful not to twist).
Rnd 1: Ch 3, dc in each remaining ch, join in 3rd ch of beg ch 3.
Rnd 2: Ch 3, front post dc (fpdc) around next dc, *back post dc (bpdc) around next dc, fpdc around next dc, rep from *, join in 3rd ch of beg ch 3.
Rnds 3-5: Repeat Rd 2 three more times.
Ch 1, 2 sc in join, sc in each dc around, join in beg sc.

Hand

Rnd 1: Ch 1, sc in each of next 15 sc, 2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc, sc in each of next 15 sc, join.
Rnd 2: Ch 1, sc in each sc around, join.

Flip-Top

Attach CC2 1 row above beginning of thumb join. For right mitten, work across with thumb on the left and for the left, work across with thumb on the right.
Rnd 1: Ch 1, sc across front of mitten (16 sc), ch 20 and join to first sc.
Rnd 2: Sc in each of the 16 sc and each of the 20 ch across. Join.
Rnd 3: Sc in each sc, join.
Rnd 4: Ch 1, 1 sc into first sc, *1 hdc into next sc, 1 dc into next sc, 3 tr into next sc, 1 dc into next sc, 1 hdc into next sc, 1 sc into next sc; rep from * to end. The last sc will be your join.
