Use 2 strands of yarn throughout pattern.
Do not join rounds unless stated.
When working with both colors, carry the unused color across working the sc stitches around the unused color using tapestry crochet technique.

Rnd 31: Sc in each st around – 90 sts.

Fasten off.

To learn how to read patterns, print off a page od the stitch abbreviations. Lay it next to your pattern. Start reading your pattern and when you get to an abbreviation yo do not know, refer to the printed sheet for the stitch the pattern is asking for. To start, stick with easy patterns (small projects.) When you’re comfortable with those, move on to a slightly more difficult pattern.
It is with a sincere and friendly smile I say that I wish more people would spend a few minutes to learn to read patterns. Almost any crocheter is willing to help with that, but for those who prefer not to learn, they may be happier choosing beginner projects. Always check the skill level on the pattern, read over it and seek help before starting. I love crochet!

I love this pattern. I made a pattern similar and it was fun to make. It’s real easy.
I never had help learning to crochet. I only knew one stich for like 20 years. The only thing I have ever made is apparently granny square blanket. I have never kept any of the blankets I have made because I don’t think they are good enough. But lately I have been wanting to learn how to read a pattern. Right now I am making a balero shrug with a hoodie. It’s taken me 3 times to get to where I feel comfortable enough with the stich and pattern. I would love to learn how to read a pattern.
