Pattern Notes
This hat is worked in the round from the bottom up.
On rows where there are CC Puff Stitches, carry both colors along throughout the entire round. When finishing the hdc before a Puff Stitch, use MC, not CC.
Always be sure to work a PS centered between the PS from 3 rounds below. The way crochet spirals, PS on successive rounds should naturally fall between PS from previous rows. But adjust stitches if necessary to make PS positioned correctly.

This pattern is featured in the December 2022 issue but the comments are from 2017 and 2018, is the pattern being re-used from an earlier issue?
Hi Jenny,
Our December issues are Editor’s Editions – curated patterns from our archives to match current trends and to highlight the wonderful patterns that members have access to. Hope that helps clarify! – Nicola, Editor
What weight is the yarn? I have a large stash of worsted weight yarn and want to use some of it.
This is a sport weight yarn.
