Is the E hook a mistake for worsted weight yarn? Normally it would be H.
The size of the hook will dictate the gauge. If you get the gauge with a size H, go ahead. The size hook given is what the designer used and is just a suggestion for the crocheter.
I’m a plus size gal which is why I wanted to try my hand at a simple sweater like this. However, the pattern only goes up to 52″ for a 46″ bust. I have a large bust of almost 60″. How do I adjust the pattern to fit me. I’m still a beginner, so while I know there is a way, I just don’t know how.
Hi Stacey, increasing the size of the top is very involved especially for larger sizes. However, one easy way is to follow the largest size for the pattern but use a larger hook to get a larger size. Remember always make a swatch before starting to work on the pattern.
Hiya!

I love the look of this sweater … beautiful with a stylish fit. A perfect next sweater project for me, but I’m hesitant to start without that schematic. Thanks in advance for correcting its format.

Love this sweater, but really, designs need to be available in larger sizes and be the equivalent of ready to wear sizes.
How many more sizes do you think there needs to be? And what size would you like to have?
I downloaded the schematic but when attempting to open I get the message that the file is corrupted.
