Hook: US size D/3 (3.25 mm) hook
Notions: Tapestry needle, stitch markers

Pattern Notes

When changing yarn colors, drop previous yarn color and complete stitch with new yarn color.
Ch 3 in beg of row counts as dc.
Ch 4 in beg of row counts as tr.
Ch 5 in beg of row counts as tr, ch 1.

Special Stitches

Petal puff (pp): (sc, ch 3, tr3tog, ch 3, sc) in next st.
Front Post Bullion (fpb): (Yo, wrap hook around post of tr in previous row) 6 times, yo, pull through all lps on hook, ch-1 to secure).
5 Double Crochet Shell (5-dc sh): 5 dc worked into one st.
5 Treble Fan (5trf): 5 tr worked into one st
Small Split Treble Fan (sstrf): (2 tr, ch 1, 2 tr) in next st
Large Split Treble Fan (lstrf): (3 tr, ch 2, 3 tr) in next st.
Wide Treble Fan (wtrf): (tr, ch 1, tr, ch 1, tr) in next sp or st.

Row 3: Ch 4, work 5 dc in top of pp center at tr3tog across to last 4 sts, sk 3 sts, tr in top of ch-3, turn. (60 5-dc shells)
Row 4: Ch 4, work 2 tr in first st, sk dc shell, work sstrf in the sp between each dc shell across to the last st, work 3 tr in top of ch-4, turn. (60 sstrf)
Row 5: Ch 5, tr in first st, sk sstrf, work wtrf in sp between each sstrf across, (tr, ch 1, tr) in last st in row, turn. (60 wtrf)
