Versatility knows no bounds in this beautiful project. This simply constructed shawl creates a substantial material that can be draped over the shoulders in the cooler evenings, and its longer length makes it a cinch to wear in a cowl-like fashion as the winter months draw closer.

Pattern Notes
This pattern is worked from the widest part and decreased down.
Only two stitch types are used, hdc and slip stitch. The slip stitch is purely decorative and the returning Hdc row is worked in the top of the previous Hdc row. When turning for the Hdc row I have chosen to only ch1 as I prefer the edge that this creates, you can chain 2 if desired.
Pattern is easily adjustable to your preference

Why does this pattern call for “10.5 needles” to be used when it is obviously a crocheted item? I’m using a “J’ hook so it will be a looser stitch.
Seems to have been a typo! Thanks for pointing it out! – Nicola, Editor
How do I add a pattern to my library? Can’t seem to figure out how. Please advise
