Pattern Notes
All parts of the bunny are worked in continuous rnds without joining. Place the stitch marker in the top of the first st to mark start of rnd. Pattern will use about 10 grams of color A and 5 grams of each of the other colors. Alternative yarns to use might be Red Heart Comfort Sport or Bella, Lion Brand Jamie, Patons Asta, Scheepjes Colour Crafter, Bernat Baby Sport or Softee Baby.
Pattern
Cheeks (make 2)
Rnd 1: With B, make a magic ring (adjustable ring), work 6 sc into the ring, use tail yarn to tighten centre ring closed – 6 sts.
Alternative Start: With B, ch 2, work 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook – 6 sts.
Rnd 2: *Work 2 sc in each st; rep from * to end of rnd – 12 sts.
Fasten off with sl st to next st.
Weave in ends as required, leaving a long tail to sew Cheeks to Bunny’s Body.
Bunny Body
Rnds 1-2: With C, work Rnds 1-2 of Cheeks – 12 sts.
Rnd 3: *Sc in next st, 2 sc in next st; rep from * to end of rnd – 18 sts.
Rnd 4: *Sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st; rep from * to end of rnd – 24 sts.
Rnd 5: *Sc in next 3 sts, 2 sc in next st; rep from * to end of rnd – 30 sts.
Rnd 6: *Sc in next 4 sts, 2 sc in next st; rep from * to end of rnd – 36 sts.
Rnds 7-27: Sc in each st around – 36 sts.
Note: Insert eyes between Rnds 8-9 approx. 5 sts apart. Sew on Cheeks approx. 7 or 8 sts apart below Rnd 9. With C, embroider a Nose and Mouth in between the Cheeks. Stuff Body.
Rnd 28: *Sc in next 4 sts, sc2tog in next st; rep from * to end of rnd – 30 sts.
Rnd 29: *Sc in next 3 sts, sc2tog in next st; rep from * to end of rnd, sl st to next st – 24 sts.
Rnd 30: *Sc in next 2 sts, sc2tog in next st; rep from * to end of rnd, sl st to next st – 18 sts.

Ears (make 2)

Sew ears into place on top of Bunny’s Body.
Arms (make 2)
Rnd 1: With D, work Rnd 1 of Cheek – 6 sts.
Rnd 2: *Sc in next st, 2 sc in next st; rep from * to end of rnd – 9 sts.
Rnds 3-20: Sc in each st around, finish off with sl st to next st, leaving a long tail for sewing arms to Bunny’s Body – 9 sts.
Sew Arms in place on sides of Bunny’s Body in a loop so that candy/carrot can be placed in the arm holes.
Feet (make 2)
Rnds 1-2: With E, work Rnds 1-2 of Cheeks – 12 sts.
Rnds 3-5: Sc in each st around – 12 sts.
Rnd 6: *Sc in next st, sc2tog in next; rep from * to end of rnd – 8 sts.
Rnd 7: Sc in each st around, finish off with sl st to next st, leaving a long tail for sewing Feet to Bunny’s Body – 8 sts.
Sew Feet in place on bottom of Bunny’s Body.
Finishing
Pom Pom
With A, B, C, D, and E, make a pom pom and sew onto the back of Bunny’s Body at the bottom.
Carrot Bottom
Rnd 1: With B, work Rnd of Cheeks – 6 sts.
Rnd 2: Sc in each st around to end of rnd – 6 sts.
Rnd 3: *Sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st; rep from * to end of rnd – 8 sts.
Rnd 4: Sc in each st around to end of rnd – 8 sts.
Rnd 5: *Sc in next 3 sts, 2 sc in next st; rep from * to end of rnd – 10 sts.
Rnds 6-11: Sc in each st around to end of rnd – 10 sts.
