Motifs built upon motifs create a whimsical and visually entertaining throw. Four small motifs come together, and are bordered to create a larger motif. As the squares dip slightly in the center of the side, these are left un-joined to create an open effect. The construction of this throw allows it to be a join-as-you-go that is still very portable.
