Special Stitches

SPsc1 – Spike Single Crochet in 1st Rnd below: Insert hook into the st directly below next st. Pull the yarn through the st and up until it reaches the height of the sts currently being worked. Finish as regular sc.

SPsc2 – Spike Single Crochet in 2nd Rnd below: Insert hook into the st 2 rnds directly below next st. Pull the yarn through the st and up until it reaches the height of the sts currently being worked. Finish as regular sc.
