I think this is the most beautiful stitch pattern I have ever worked. That said, I also believe there are precautions to take. I made the largest size (44) but shortened it to the length of the small (10.5 scallops). I think the stitching which goes from hem to neckline allows the garment to stretch in length a bit so even my best effort at keeping the sweater hem right at the top of my hips has been a bit thwarted. The pattern is labeled “intermediate” and to be sure there is nothing particularly complicated about it except for trying to figure out what the pattern was asking you to do. I would have rated this advanced based on the pattern instructions. I am glad I made this. I wish it looked a bit better on me but I think that is my problem, not the pattern’s problem.
