Special Stitches
Popcorn – Make 3Hdc stitches in one stitch. Remove your hook, place your hook in the first Hdc, grab the free loop and pull that loop through the first stitch. Finish the popcorn with a Sl st.
Pattern Notes
Socks are worked from the toe up. Socks are made in the round with a starting chain and a joining slip stitch. These socks are made in a simple tube sock style with the details and texture coming from the different stitches used. Chunky and super cozy but easy to make.
Starting chains count as a stitch unless indicated in the pattern.

With MC, MR,
Round 1: Ch 2 (counts as a stitch unless otherwise stated throughout), 8 hdc in MR, join with a sl st to the top of the beginning ch-2. (9)
Round 2: Ch 2, hdc in the same space as the ch-2, 2 hdc in each stitch around, join with a sl st to the top of the beginning ch-2. (18)
Round 3-5: Hdc in each stitch around, join with a sl st to the top of the beginning ch-2. (18)
Round 6: Join CC1 but do not fasten off MC, ch 1 (does not count as a st this round), sc in each st around, join to first sc with sl st. (18 Dc)

Round 7: Join MC, ch 2, hdc in each stitch around, join with a sl st to the top of the beginning ch-2. (18)

Round 3: With CC1, in the first set of front loops holding the sock with the toe pointing away from you, work as follows – (Ch 3, 2 dc) in the same space, skip a st, sc in next st, [3 dc in next st, skip a st, sc in next st] around finishing with a sc. Sl st into the stitch where you made the first dc cluster. (6 Dc clusters and 6 Sc)
Fasten off CC1
Round 4: Repeat round 3 in the second set of front loops.
