Pattern Notes

Body is worked flat top-down in 4 rectangles with an easy shell pattern. You can either pick up the stitches of the previously made rectangle or just make the 4 pieces independently and then join them at the shoulders.

Sides and front/back bands are worked side to side in seed st. Back pieces are seamed, and flanks joint by 2 decorative buttons.  The garment includes 2 inset pockets, and a leather clasp as a front closing.

Flanks and shoulders are shaped by picking up a shorter number of stitches in the sides, compared with the Front/Back Bands.

Starting ch 1 does not count as a stitch.

All pieces are made with both yarns held together.
