Block the poncho.

Cut 498 12-inch lengths of yarn. This can be done relatively quickly by wrapping around a 6-inch-wide piece of cardboard and cutting one side of the wrapped yarn.

Start from a corner and tie lark’s head knots in every other dc-sp. Hold two strands together, fold in half, insert hook into dc-sp, put lp over hook, pull through work, pull all ends through lp and tighten.
