Hook: US size H/8 (5.0 mm) hook

Pattern

Ch 242.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc, *ch 5, sk 3 ch, 3 sc; rep from * across, ending with 2 sc.
Row 2: Ch 1, turn. Sc, *ch 3, sc in ch-5, ch 3, sk sc, sc in next sc, sk sc; rep from * across, ending with ch 3, sk sc, sc in last st.
Row 3: Ch 2, turn. Dc, ch 2, *sc in ch-3 sp, sc in next sc, sc in ch-3, ch 5, sk sc; rep from * across, ending with sc in ch-3, sc in next sc, sc in ch-3, ch 2, dc in last st.
Row 4: Ch 1, turn. Sc, *ch 3, sk sc, sc in next sc, sk sc, ch 3, sc in ch-5; rep from * across, ending with sc in last st.
Row 5: Ch 1, turn. Sc, sc in ch-3, *ch 5, sk sc, sc in ch-3, sc in next sc, sc in ch-3; rep from * across, ending with sc in ch-3 and sc in last st.
Rows 6-8: Repeat Rows 2-4.

Border

Row 1: Ch 1, turn to into sides of rows, work 10 dc across. Ch 1, turn to foundation ch, work 1 dc in each sc and 3 dc in each ch-3 across. Ch 1, turn to side of rows, work 10 dc across. Ch 1, turn to last row, work 1 dc on each sc and 3 dc in each ch-3 across. Ch 1, join with a sl st. Fasten off.

Tassels

Cut 48 strands of yarn to 10″ lengths. Attach 2 to each dc and ch-1 at the ends of the scarf with larks head knot.
