Pattern Notes

Odd number rows are read right to left, even number rows are read left to right.

Rows start with either a chain 3 or chain 5 depending on if the first row is a space or open block.

Add a few extra chains to the starting chain to make sure there are plenty to start the row.  Extra stitches can easily be removed later.

All rows have 51 blocks or spaces in them.

Using stitch markers every 50 chains on the beginning chain will help to keep count of how many there are when chaining the long chain.

Beginning ch-3 counts as a dc.

Ch 5 at the beg of a row counts as a dc and a ch-2.

Last dc of a row is worked into the top of the turning ch-3 or the third of the turning ch-5.
