With MC, working over CC cord and into sts of previous rnd, ch 1, sc in each st until you reach a pompom, *push pompom to RS and sc in next st behind pompom, continuing to work over CC cord sc in each st to next pompom; rep from * to end, join with sl st in first sc. Cut CC.

Rnd 29: Ch 1, sc in each st to end, join with sl st in first sc.

Rnds 30-35: Rep Rnds 28-29, 3 more times.

Rnds 36-38: Ch 1, sc in each st to end, join with sl st in first sc.

Rnd 39 (Handles): Ch 1, sc in first 4 sts, ch 20, sk next 18 sts, sc in next 30 sts, ch 20, sk next 18 sts, sc in each st to end, join with sl st in first sc.

Rnd 40: Ch 1, sc in first 4 sts, 20 sc in ch-20 sp, sc in next 20 sts, 20 sc in ch-20 sp, sc in each sts to end, join with sl st in first sc. (100 sc)
