Finishing
Assembly
Lay out as pictured on a flat surface.
Use stitch markers to mark each end of the edges where the pieces meet on the first two circles.
Lay the pieces right sides together and line up the marked stitches.
Using yarn scraps in corresponding colors, working through the outside loops of each piece, sc join (see Special Stitches) and sc between the markers.
Lay pieces back down with the rest and mark the next edge to join. Repeat this for each section until the rug is attached at every point where the circles meet.
What do you use so the rug don’t slide
From the designer: I have non-slip fabric pad cut to fit and sewn to mine. You can find it with rugs on Amazon or even as “shelf liner” at places like the dollar store. The other thing that I’ve heard works well is puff paint on the bottom, though I would be afraid of that scratching my floor.
I am looking for a circular tablecloth pattern. Can you help me? Thank you.
Hello! We don’t have that type of pattern, but we do have circular blankets that you maybe could modify to use a different yarn/hook size:
