Yarn: Bernat Maker Home Dec (72% Cotton, 28% Nylon; 317 yards [290 meters]/250 grams): 11008 Clay (1 ball)
Hook: US size K/10.5 (6.5 mm)
Notions: Tapestry needle, one 12” dowel rod
Special Stitches
Inc – (sc, ch 1, sc, ch 1, sc) all in indicated st
Pattern Notes
This pattern is worked from the bottom up.
Increases are made on one side.
The last row is worked around a dowel rod.

Ch 2.
Row 1: (Sc, ch 1, sc) in 2nd st from hook. (2 sc, 1 ch-1 sp)
Row 2: Ch 1, turn, inc in ch-1 sp. (3 sc, 2 ch-1 sps)
Row 3: Ch 1, turn, (sc, ch 1, sc) in each ch-1 sp across. (4 sc, 2 ch-1 sps)
Row 4: Ch 1, turn, inc in first ch-1 sp, (sc, ch 1, sc) in each ch-1 sp across. (5 sc, 3 ch-1 sps)
Row 5: Ch 1, turn, (sc, ch 1, sc) in each ch-1 sp across. (6 sc, 3 ch-1 sps)
Rows 6-25: Rep Rows 4-5.
Note: In Row 26 you will working your sts around the dowel rod.
Row: 26: Ch 1, turn, sc in each sc st across, skipping over each ch-1 sp. (26 sc)
Ch 38, sl st to first sc of Row 26.
Fasten off. Weave in all ends.
Finishing
Cut 50 strands for the fringe 24” long. Add 2 to the end of Rows 1-25 of the angled side.
