I am always asked to make baby blankets. Because I give the blanket my everything. It has to be the exact perfect color and pattern for that lil darlin. It just has to be perfect I have to feel it if I don’t in the first few rows I rip it out and start hunting all over. So when I tell someone that one of my blankets or items are done with love and care that is exactly what I mean.

i have not done any yet (just starting my first project) but I want to make baby blankets for babies in need. Homeless shelters, women’s shelters and others. I will decide which organization when I finally get to that point

I mostly donate blankets, hats, booties on an ongoing basis for a local community agency to give to needy people. Have done this for 12 years. However, we just received our first great grandchild this past week…a baby girl, so I will be doing much more. Her mama already wants a cocoon. I gave her a hat and blanket at the shower.
