Please let me know what your question is for this particular pattern and I will do my best to assist. Sadly, this designer has passed away so any questions will have to be looked at by our tech editor if there is deemed to be something wrong with the pattern. Thank you for your patience.

  • Why is only ONE of the TWO images here on the page showing up in the printed version? Is this an error, or is there a reason we cannot have both images? If we can only have one, I’d prefer to have the close-up (NOT the rolled up blanket image) in the printed version. TIA!

  • It would be great to make this blanket for children in homeless shelter or a shelter for mother’s and their children, especially now that winter is well on it’s way.

  • I’m totally confused & I went to YouTube ( something I don’t normally use) & I couldn’t find anything about how to crochet & I was told there was even a video, can anyone point me in the right direction. Thank you!!

  • Linda, reading the pattern, I think you are correct. Row 1 is putting double crochets in the foundation chain row. I’d say just an oversight. Give it a try, I taught myself. If you get in a jam, stop by a yarn shop – they will be glad to help.

  • In row one directions say dc in each of next five dc. I guess they mean dc in each ch. Im being stupid i guess cause there are only ch on first row to crochet in. Btw its pretty, but imho i think it will be prettier in a solid color. Someone confirm that the dc go in the ch on row one please. Ty

    • You can go to youtube.com and look up how to read crochet patterns. You.tube is how I learned to crochet.

    • Youtube has many great instructional videos for free & also offers on-line classes, some free, some at low cost. When you are working your pattern if you come upon a term you don’t understand, just go to youtube. There will be several videos offered for you.
