Blanket is made from 16 squares. Each square is edged and then squares are arranged as shown in Assembly Diagram and joined together. Ch 3 at beg of rows counts as dc.

2nd row: Ch 3. X-dc in each 4-dc group. 1 dc in top of beg ch-3. Turn. 7 X-dc and 1 dc at each end.
