I cannot find these 5 colors in the 220 Superwash Merino worsted weight #4. I can find most of them in the 220 Superwash DK #3. I was just wondering if the pattern had any errors because some things (regarding yarn info) are not adding up. Also, the pattern says to get 4 skeins of each but does not say what size blanket 4 skeins will make.
Each square is 12” x 12” each and I believe 4 squares x 4 squares, but the pattern is customizable to be whatever size you want. This pattern was published in 2016, so it’s possible that the yarn line has changed available colorways and grams per skein. https://www.cascadeyarns.com/product/220-superwash. I would recommend doing a gauge swatch, or completing one square and seeing how much more yarn you may need. Hope this helps. – Nicola, Editor
how many squares of each or is that optional as well?
This is not my design but this is what I think: For a blanket 48×60 inches, make 20 squares, 4 of each design. For a longer blanket, 48×72 inches (for those of us with tall family members), make 24 squares, make 5 squares of 4 designs and 4 squares of the 5th design.
