Worked lengthwise, this simple lacework paneled afghan is reminiscent of Aran fisherman style but with a more contemporary feel. The panels are worked alternating the three lace designs as well as varying panel widths from narrow to wide. Added fringe adds to the older feel of this design.

Finishing
Cut yarn into 12 inch long strips, fold in half and tie to edge of rows, creating fringe.
I would also like to know how to adjust the size. Multiple of stitches?
could you show more close up of the afghan so, that helps me to understand the direction a lot easer .
Please provide directions for finishing
Hello! Thanks for bringing this to our attention. The finishing instructions have been added. Thank you for your patience!
If I want to make this pattern smaller or larger, can you please provide the multiple and how to figure that out? Thank you
Like in row 3, do you skip that stitch or the next one?
Thank you for your comment. Work into the stitch, skipping as indicated.
Does the chain 3 count as a stitch?
