Notions: Removable Stitch Markers, tapestry needle, four 0.5” buttons, sewing needle and sewing thread (for attaching buttons)

Special Stitches

Invisible Increase (inc): Work 2 single crochets in the same space, working first stitch in front loop only and second stitch in back loop only. (FLsc, BLsc)

Invisible Color Change (ICC): When working in rnds, begin color change at the end of the previous row by using new yarn for slip stitch.

When working in rows, use new yarn for the final yarn over of the previous row.

Pattern Notes

Turning chains always count as a stitch. Slip stitches do not count as a stitch.

For the colorwork, all patterns use the same basic colorwork pattern (4A, 2B, 4C, 2B), but start at different points. Use ICC to change colors at the end of row (rnd). Carry unused yarns along the edge or on the wrong side of the work.

Tips & Tricks: When working in rnds, place a removable stitch marker in the first stitch of the rnd. In subsequent rnds, continue to move the stitch marker, always placing it in the first stitch of the current rnd.
