Sole (make 4 total; 2 in each color)

Ch 9.

Rnd 1: Sc in second ch from hook, sc in next 6 ch, 4 hdc in the last ch, working on opposite side of foundation ch, sc in next 6 ch, 3 sc in next ch, sl st to first st to join rnd – 20 sts.

Rnd 2: Ch 1, sc in same st, sc in next 2 sts, hdc in next 4 sts, 2 dc in next 4 sts, hdc in next 4 sts, sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next 3 sts, sl st to first st to join rnd – 27 sts.

Rnd 3: Ch 1, sc in same st, sc in next 2 sts, hdc in next 4 sts, (hdc in next st, 2 hdc in next st) 4 times, hdc in next 4 sts, sc in next 2 sts, (sc in next st, 2 sc in next st) 3 times, sl st to first st to join rnd – 34 sts.

Fasten off.

Toe Strap (make 2)

With C1, ch 9.

Row 1: Sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across – 8 sts.

Row 2: Ch 1, turn, sc in each st.

Fasten off.

Sew Toe Strap over Sandal toe.

Place one sole of each color with wrong side together, with C1 facing you, sew the two Soles together.

Heel (both right and left sandal)

Row 1: Join C1 3 sts to right of the sl st on Sole, ch 1, sc in next 14 sts.

Row 2: Turn, sc2tog, sc in next 10 sts, sc2tog – 12 sts.

Row 3: Turn, sc2tog, sc in next 8 sts, sc2tog – 10 sts.

Row 4: Turn, sc2tog, sc in next 6 sts, sc2tog, ch 10, sl st to first st of row – 8 sts; 10 chs.

Row 5: Turn, ch 1, sc in each ch and st, sl st to first st to join – 18 sts.
