Yarn: Red Heart Classic (100% acrylic; 190 yards [174 meters]/100 grams): #0818 Blue Jewel (3 skeins), #0230 Yellow (3 skeins), #0001 White (3 skeins)
Hook: US size G/6 (4.5 mm) hook or size needed for gauge
Special Stitches
Cluster: Holding back last loop of each stitch on hook, 3 dcs as indicated in instructions, yo, pull through all loops on hook.
Pattern Notes
Throw is crocheted in multiples of 6 plus 7.
Pattern
Row 1: With blue ch 127, dc in 4th ch from hook, and in each ch across, turn. (124 dcs)
Row 2: Ch 3, dc in each of next 2 dcs, [ch 1, skip 1 dc, cluster in next dc, ch 1, skip 1 dc, dc in each of next 3 dcs] across, turn.
Row 3: Ch 3, dc in each dc, ch 1 and cluster across, turn.
Row 4: Ch 4, [skip 1 dc, dc in next dc, ch 1] across ending dc in top of turning ch, turn.
Row 5: Ch 4, [skip next ch 1 space, dc in next dc, ch 1] across ending with dc in 3rd ch of beginning ch 4, fasten off and turn.
Row 6: Join yellow with a slip stitch in first stitch ch 2, dc in each dc and ch 1 across, turn.
Color Scheme
Continue pattern repeating Rows 2-6 changing color on Row 6 for a total of 60 rows as follows:
(5 rows blue, 5 rows yellow, 5 rows white) 4 times
Edging
Rnd 1: With blue work along top edge 3 scs in right corner dc, sc in each dc and ch across, 3 scs in last dc.
Work along side edge 2 scs in each dc across.
Work along bottom edge 3 scs in first ch, sc in each ch across, 3 scs in last stitch.
Work along side edge 2 scs in each dc across, join to beginning sc and fasten off.
Rnd 2: With white work along top edge cluster in first corner sc, [ch 3, skip 1 sc, sc in next sc, ch 3, skip 1 sc, cluster in next sc] across, ch 3 cluster in last corner sc.
Work along side edge ch 3, skip 1 sc, sc in next sc, continue pattern around entire blanket, join to top of beginning cluster and fasten off.
Rnd 3: With yellow work along top edge sc in top of corner cluster, ch 4, [sc in sc, ch 4, sc in top of next cluster, ch 4] continue this pattern around entire blanket, join to beginning sc and fasten off.
Lightly block to measurements. Weave in all ends and trim.
