1 Hold the yarn a few inches from the end and wrap it around your fingers.
2 Insert hook into the wrap and pull up a hook. Chain one and remove loop from fingers.
3 Work stitches of first round into the ring, covering it.4 To tighten the ring, pull gently but firmly on the yarn tail.
