Hook: US size G/6 (4.0 mm) hook

Pattern Notes
Each row is worked comprised of a series of blocks and long chain spaces. The rows are essentially worked separately, but each block is joined to the previous row at the corners.
The work is never turned to the wrong side. Always keep right side facing.
To connect: Remove hook from loop, insert hook between ch-2 and dc at corner of indicated block from previous row, replace loop on hook and pull through, then continue as directed.
Pattern
Ch 11.
Row 1: *Dc in 3rd ch from hook and in next 7 ch across, ch 2, sl st in last ch, turn work upside down, ch 2, dc in next 8 ch, ch 2, sl st in base of t-ch to join, ch 21, rep from * across until 19 blocks have been completed. Fasten off.
Row 2: Ch 11, connect to lower left hand corner of 2nd block from previous row, dc in 3rd ch from hook and in next 7 ch, connect to bottom right hand corner of 1st block from previous row) ch 2, sl st in last ch, turn work upside down, ch 2, dc in next 8 ch, ch 2, sl st in base of t-ch to join, *ch 21, skip next block, connect to bottom left corner of following block, dc in 3rd ch from hook and in next 7 ch, connect to bottom right corner of skipped block, ch 2, sl st in next ch, turn work upside down, ch 2, dc in next 8 ch, ch 2, sl st in base of t-ch to join, rep from * across until 18 blocks have been completed ending with the last block between next to last and final blocks of previous row. Fasten off.
Row 3: Ch 11, connect to lower left hand corner of 1st block from previous row, dc in 3rd ch from hook and in next 7 ch, ch 2, sl st in last ch, turn work upside down, ch 2, dc in next 8 ch, ch 2, sl st in base of t-ch to join, *ch 21, skip next block, connect to bottom left corner of following block, dc in 3rd ch from hook and in next 7 ch, connect to bottom right corner of skipped block, ch 2, sl st in next ch, turn work upside down, ch 2, dc in next 8 ch, ch 2, sl st in base of t-ch to join, rep from * 16 more times, ch 21, dc in 3rd ch from hook and in next 7 ch, connect to bottom right corner of last block from previous row, ch 2 sl st in next ch, turn work upside down, ch 2, dc in next 8 ch, ch 2, sl st in base of t-ch to join. Fasten off.
Rep rows 2 and 3 eight more times until 19 rows have been completed, then fasten off.
Finishing
Block piece to finished measurements. Weave in ends.
