- Read instructions before starting.
- Count stitches in each row.
- Ch 3 turning chain counts as a dc.

Pattern
Flowers (make 3)
With ecru, ch 3, join with sl st to form ring.
Rnd 1: 5 sc in ring, sl st to 1st sc, change yarn to petal color. Fasten off.
Note: If sewing flower to front piece, leave a 6” tail for sewing.
Rnd 2: Ch 3, (dc, ch 3, sl st) in same st, [sl st in next st, ch 3, dc, ch 3, sl st in same st] 4 times. Fasten off. (5 petals)
Stems (make 3)
With grass, ch 14, sl st in 2nd ch from hook, sl st in each chain to end. Fasten off. (13)
Front
With ecru, ch 16
Row 1: Dc in back bump of 4th st from hook (skipped chs count as dc), dc in each ch (back bump) across, turn. (14 dc)
Row 2: Ch 1, sc between first 2 stitches, ch 2, skip 3 st, *sc between next 2 stitches, ch 2, skip 3 st; repeat from * to end, sc between last 2 st, turn. (5 sc, 4 ch-sps)
Row 3: Ch 3, *3 dc in ch-2 space, repeat from * 3 times, dc in last st. (14 dc)
Row 4-13: Repeat rows 2 & 3 five times ending with row 3.
Fasten off. Weave in ends.
Sew or glue flowers and stems to front piece. Be sure to place row 1 at bottom before adding flowers and stems. Weave in ends.
Back
With ecru, ch 16
Row 1-3: Work rows 1-3 of front piece.
Row 4-17: Repeat rows 2 & 3 seven times ending with row 3.
Do not fasten off. Weave in loose ends.
Finishing
- Place front and back pieces together with wrong sides facing. Match rows and be sure to have row 1 at the bottom before joining the two pieces. Work edging through both layers when both are present.
- Ch 1, * sc in side stitch and 2 sc in ch-3 loop*, repeat from * to * to corner, 2 sc corner, sc in each st along bottom to corner, 2 sc in corner, repeat from * to * to top.
- Sc in each st across top, sl st to first sc.
Fasten off. Weave in ends.
