Pattern Notes
This pattern is worked in three steps.
First, the purse base is made with sc stitches in continuous rounds.
Second, the purse body is worked in regular joined rounds with beads and popcorn stitches.
Third, the frame is stitched to last round with tapestry needle and big beads are added for a handle.
Move the stitch marker up on each round in the first stitch.
The starting chain on each row does not count as stitch.
Ch-3 in the beginning of round counts as 1st dc.

Frame and Handle
Attaching frame:
- Using the long tail and tapestry needle first insert needle from back to front through first st.
- Place the frame behind last round stitches, insert needle from front to back through first st and first hole of frame, then insert needle from back to front through 2nd hold of frame and 2nd st, repeat stitches until the last hole on the first side of frame.
- Insert needle from front to back to front through next 3 stitches (first corner).
- Repeat the second side of frame and the second corner.
- Stitch around the frame second time inserting needle in opposite manner = instead of front to back insert needle from back to front through first hole and first st, then front to back through 2nd st and 2nd hole, etc. When looking at the inside of the frame, the second round of stitches will cover the spaces between the holes that were not covered on the first round.
Weave in all ends.
Handle:
- Measure and cut about 20 inches of yarn.
- Using a tapestry needle add 12mm beads onto the yarn.
- Attach each end of the yarn to handle hole on the frame.
