How to do Larkspur st?
Hello! Please see the video tutorial about! Hope this helps! – Nicola, Editor
Hi Nicole, could you tell me what ply the wool in the pattern would equal eg 8 ply or 10 ply. I am in Australia and cannot buy the Lion brand yarn. Thank you
Janette
Hi Janette! I believe it is 10ply. You should be able to buy through LoveCrafts: https://www.lovecrafts.com/en-au/p/lion-brand-vanna-s-choice
Sorry! I had to go back and take a good look at the other blanket to realize that was the pattern for the Marigold Blanket. Sometimes I’m kinda’ dingy.
How about you write out the pattern so i can print it.? The video was good, but I need to read the instructions.
Thanks in advance. Johnette
Hi Johnette! The pattern is above the video. You are welcome to save this pattern by copying and pasting into a word document or by printing the pattern via the printer icon on the left hand side of your screen. Hope this helps! – Nicola, Editor
Love your tutorials! Makes me feel like I could do this pattern with no problem. Thank you from a “former” crocheter that needs to Lear. To relax again
I love videos-it would be helpful if you did a closeup of the stitches as you work them. And maybe stop and let us see just what stitch you go into. It is routine to you, but we are trying to get the hang of a new stitch.
Hi Celeste! Thank you for the feedback and we will keep it in mind for future video tutorials. Happy crocheting! – Nicola
If you do a Google search for larks foot stitch pattern you’ll find tons of other patterns already using this stitch pattern for blankets. You will be able to find concise instructions and videos as well.
In row #1 sk first sc in row below. What exactly does this mean? Do you work the rest of the row in the row below? Thank you. celyak@megalink.net
Hi Celeste! We’ve reached out to the designer for clarification and she or I will reply as soon as possible. Thanks! – Nicola
This is a larksfoot stitch pattern. How is this any different from any other afghan already published using the stitch pattern? What makes this original from any other that uses the stitch pattern?
Hi George, many designers use interesting stitches that already exist but are maybe not as familiar to many crocheters. If you are familiar with the amazing larksfoot stitch, you will likely find this blanket pattern easier to follow. Happy crocheting! – Nicola, Editor
