I am new at crocheting…what does multiples of eight mean? Thank you.
Infusing the gift with love and then watching the delight on their faces when they open the gift.
Exciting to have a project to get ready for easter baskets for my grown daughters
the joy of gift giving!
I love seeing there smiles, when the receive something I made for them
Being able to give a one of a kind gift that I can put my heart into and the joy on their faces whenever they receive something I crochet!
seeing their happy surprise
I think I will try this one today! Thanks for the pattern.
Seeing the smile on their faces!
Seeing their pleasure when given something made especially for them.
My favourite is thinking of them the whole project and seeing their delight receiving it.
My favorite thing about crocheting for friends and family is that, even though they know you know how to crochet they still can’t believe you made such a beautiful project. I love the reaction lol.
I love giving something made especially for them, made with love!
It makes me feel good that I can give a gift that I made myself. It’s a gift from my heart to theirs.
The feeling I get when I make something specifically for them and they know I love them.
Knowing that the recipient will love the item as much or more as I had making it for them!!
When I make a gift, I focus on how special that person is to me, and try to fill the gift with my love for them. It is a wonderful meditation, which brings me the gift of peace, just as there love and friendship has also been a gift to me.
Picking out the yarn and seeing the project take shape.
The surprise on their face.
Looks great for a last minute “tuck in” gift!
I like making them happy
My favorite thing about crocheting for friends and family is having them say they like what I’ve made, and seeing them actually wear or use it!
I hope they like what I crochet them.
It’s fun saying “I made it for you”.
The joy I find in doing it and the look on their faces receiving it.
The boy I find in doing it and the look on their faces receiving it.
Another nice and lacy. I love the look on their faces when they know they got another QUALITY item from me that will last a long time and take some abuse.
Beautiful pattern! Love making gifts for people. I think it means so much more knowing the time and love put into them! Will be making this for my daughters! Thank you!
My favorite. Thing about crocheting for my family is my grandblessing and the delight she takes in what I make for her.
I just love the looks on their faces when they open them. The best reaction was my middle granddaughter when she got her first blankie at 3yrs, she lit up in a HUGE smile and screamed, “Meemaw, made me a rainbow!”
When you meet someone and she asks, “Is she the one who made the…” I then know my gift is spreading joy.
Thank you for the beautiful scarf pattern!
I like making useful things that make life better. Like the mittens for my niece, or the pot holder for my co-worker.
I love to see them wearing and enjoying what I made and knowing it was made with love, just for them.
It is something I am able to do. And they usually think I’m so wonderful for it! Thanks for making me look so good.
My favorite is when they complement me on how pretty it is, and when they wear/use it!
The look on their face when they receive something I made with love.
when they open it and are amazed and love it
My favorite thing about crocheting gifts for friends and family is knowing that I’ve made something that is wanted and will be used. I only make gifts by request so I know the recipient actually wants it.
I love to either fill a need they have for an item or a want but best of all is seeing the look on their face and hearing all their compliments!
Still too new to gift crochet, I want to get more experience first. If its not something they want or will use, I will refrain from doing it.
So pretty! I’m already envisioning this in a varigated yarn.
I love choosing the pattern, colour, and yarn with someone in mind.
I LOVE THE JOY OF SEEING SOMEONE WEAR WHAT I MADE FOR THEM!
I started this last night. It was so quick and easy! I finished this morning. It is a gift for my sister-in-law, but now I want one for myself. Thank you!
