Size: Small (Medium, Large) Cloth, 3.5” x 3.5” (5.5” x 5”, 10.5” x 10”)

Gauge: 5 sts and 4 rows = 1” [2.5 cm] after wet blocking

Materials

Medium weight yarnYarn: Lily Sugar n Cream (100% Cotton; 120 yards [109 meters]/70.9 grams): Tangerine (C1, 1 ball) for Small Cloth, Red (C2, 1 ball) for Medium Cloth, Beach Glass (C3, 1 ball) for Large Cloth

Hook: US size G/6 (4.25 mm), US size I/9 (5.5mm)

A regular straight crochet hook or a Tunisian hook may be used. If using a regular straight hook, attach a rubber band at the end to prevent your loops from slipping off.

Notions: Tapestry needle

Abbreviations

TSS – Tunisian simple stitch

TKS – Tunisian knit stitch

TPS – Tunisian purl stitch

Pattern Notes

All three cloths are made using simple charts. Each row is read from right to left bottom up.

Symbol key is the same for all three charts. Each symbol represents one loop on your hook. Remember one row consists of two passes: the forward and return pass.

Pattern

Small Cloth

Using smaller hook and C1, ch 16.
Row 1: Working in back bump of ch pull up loops (16 loops on hook). Work return pass. (16 st)
Rows 2-13: Follow Small Cloth Chart.

Row 14: BO across in tps, work a tks in last st.

Fasten off.

Medium Cloth

Using larger hook and C2, ch 25.

Row 1: Working in back bump of ch pull up loops (25 loops on hook). Work return pass. (25 st)

Rows 2-21: Follow medium cloth chart.

Row 22: BO across in tps, work a tks in last st. Fasten off.

Large Cloth

Using larger hook and C3, ch 45.

Row 1:  Working in back bump of ch pull up loops. Note: 45 loops on hook. Work return pass. (45 st)

Rows 2-35: Follow large cloth chart.

Row 36: Bind off across in tps, work a tks in last st. Fasten off.

Finishing

Weave in all loose ends. Block gently.
