Get your crochet fix with this quick summer project made in fingering weight yarn or size 10 crochet thread. The closure is a ring made of chains going around a little crocheted button. Crocheted in under an hour, this project is perfect for scrap yarn and makes an excellent gift or friendship bracelet.

Size: 7½” long X 1″ wide
Gauge: Worked in super fine yarn – 4 dc clusters = 2”
Worked in size 10 crochet thread – 5 dc clusters = 2”
Materials
Yarn: Red Heart Croquette (92% cotton, 5% polyester, 3% other fiber; 239 yards [219 meters]/45 grams): Calming (1 ball)
Yarn: South Maid crochet thread size 10 (100% mercerized cotton, 3-ply; 300 yards [274 meters]: Soft Yellow
Hook/Needles: US size 7 (1.65 mm) steel crochet hook
Notions: Tapestry needle, small amount of fiberfill
Special Stitches
3-dc-cluster: [Yo, insert hook in indicated st, yo and pull up lp, yo, draw yarn through 2 lps on hook] 3 times (4 lps on hook), yo, draw through all 4 lps on hook.
4-dc-cluster: [Yo, insert hook in indicated st, yo and pull up lp, yo, draw yarn through 2 lps on hook] 4 times (5 lps on hook), yo, draw through all 5 lps on hook.
Pattern Notes
3 bands of clusters are worked attached to a chain loop. The other ends are sewn together and the button is attached. The roses are sewn to the center of the bands to hold the bands together.
Pattern
Ch 10, join with sl st in first ch to create loop for closure.
Band
*Ch 3, 4-dc-cluster in 3rd ch from hook, rep from * until piece measures 7½” long or enough to go around wrist. Fasten off.
Attach yarn to chain loop and repeat instructions for the band twice more.
Button
Ch 5, join with sl st in first ch to form ring.
Rnd 1: Ch 2 (does not count as st), 9 dc in ring, join with sl st in 2nd ch. (9 sts)
Rnd 2: Ch 2 (does not count as st), dc in every dc around. (9 sts)
A small cup has been shaped. Insert a small amount of fiberfill inside the cup.
Rnd 3: Ch 2 (does not count as st), dc in next dc, dc2tog around. (5 sts)
Fasten off, leaving an 8″ tail.
Use tail to draw through top sts, pull tight to close up cup and form a button. Do not cut tail.
Decorative rose (Make 2)
Ch 15.
Work 3-dc-cluster in 3rd ch from hook, 4-dc-cluster in every rem ch across. Fasten off, leaving an 8″ tail. Roll piece into shape of a rose. Use tail to sew the bottom of the roll in place. Do not cut tail.
Finishing
Sew ends of all 3 bands tog and sew button for closure to this end of the bands.
Sew decorative roses to center of all three bands to hold the bands together.
Weave in all ends.

This is the perfect bracelet. Thank you for sharing
For this project gauge is not too important. However, if you look at the bracelet it is worked in 4-dc-clusters on top of each other. Therefore, if you are working with superfine yarn, when you work 4 (4-dc-clusters) on top of each other, you should have 2 inches. And if you are working with size 10 crochet thread 5 (4-dc-clusters) on top of each other will be 2 inches.
Please explain the “Gauge” to me.
