Keep little feet warm with these little booties that feature a fun rose embellishment.

Materials
Yarn: Worsted weight yarn, approx. 20 grams
Hook: US size J/10 (6.0 mm) hook

Pattern Notes
The sole works as a rectangle, left and right are identical.
Pattern
Rnd 1: With CC ch 6. SC in the 2nd stitch from the hook, and in each st of the chain.
Rnd 2: *Ch 1 and turn, sc in each st across, repeat from * until the rectangle is 3 ¾ inches long.
Rnd 3: Ch 1, sc all around the 4 sides of the rectangle, sl st to join.
Rnd 4: Ch 1 and turn, sc in each st around, sl st to join.
Rnd 5: Attach MC, ch 1, sc in each st around, sl st to join.
Rnd 6: Ch 1 and turn, sc in each st around. Fasten off.
Rnd 7: Repeating Rd 1-2, work the rectangle in MC until it is ½ the measurement of the foot section. Place the upper over the bottom, positioning the center front of the upper at the center front of the bottom section of the bootie. SC around to attach it to the bottom.
Rnd 8: Ch 2, evenly work 19 dc all around foot opening.
Bootie Shaft
Stitches will be worked in the front and back posts of dc alternately.
Rnd 1: Ch 2, alternate front post and back post dc around, sl st to join in the top of the first dc. (Ch 2 will count as 1 dc.)
Rnd 2-?: *chain 2, work front post and back post, making sure to work the same post as stitch below. Repeat from * until bootie is desired height. Fasten off.
Weave all yarn ends into the finished work.
Flower
Ch 40, sc in the 2nd stitch from the hook, and in each stitch of the chain.
Fasten off, leaving 12 inch long yarn end, thread into a yarn needle.
Roll into a spiral, and stitch straight across through all the layers. Work back and forth through all the layers several times moving approx. 1/2 inch each time.
Leaf
Ch 6, sc in the 2nd stitch from the hook, dc in each remaining stitch.
Fasten off, tie the 2 yarn ends together in a square knot.
Sew the leaf on the back of the flower, attach securely to the side of the bootie.
