Medium weight yarnYarn: Kraemer Perfection Worsted (30% merino, 70% acrylic; 200 yards [182 meters]/100 grams): Sprout (C1, 3 skeins), Spring Rhyme (C2, 3 skeins)
Hook: US size G/6 (4.25 mm) hook

Pattern Notes

All stitches are worked into the back loop only.

Pattern

Using C1, chain 122.
*With C1 Slip stitch in 2nd chain from hook and in each across (see note: all stitches are worked into the back loop). Chain 2, turn.
Half double crochet in each stitch across.
Switch to C2, chain 1, slip stitch all the way across. Chain 2, turn.
Half double crochet in each stitch across.
Repeat from * 21 times more or until blanket is desired length (less 2 inches for border).
Work 2 more rows of established pattern using C1 and then switch to C2 to start border.

Border

Note: these stitches are worked in both loops unless specified. Single crochet across to first corner. *In corner work (sc, ch 1, sc), sc to next corner, repeat from * until you have 5 rounds of border (corner stitches should be worked in ch 1 space made by the previous row). Switch to C1 and work one round of border.
Switch to C2 and slip stitch in back loop of each stitch around. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
