Katie Moore

My nana taught me to knit and crochet when I was in middle school. I was really bad at math and this was an easy and fun way to learn. I started making beanies for 5$ a pop, but you only got whatever color yarn I had at the moment. I was always so pleased when a new kid wanted one (I still get excited when someone new wants something.)

Skip ahead a few years. My "day-job"/other life is working as a data architect for a large market research company. I think in puzzles and numbers, and crocheting lets me turn off the stress and create my own puzzles. I make all my own designs, pick all the color palettes and. if I can avoid it, I never make the same thing twice.
