Kathy Marsh

Hello! I am Kathy, the creator, designer, crocheter, crafter of the blog Crochet Bags & More I have been crocheting for as long as I can remember. My mother and grandmother crocheted so I naturally followed them. Until recently I crocheted items from patterns I found in magazines, books or online. Then one day I created my own full pattern and realized I loved designing. Small items (potholders, dishcloths, coasters), scarves, baskets, wall hangings and especially bags of all sizes really inspire me.

Libbie Granny Square Panel Bag

Libbie is a small shoulder bag that can be completed in a weekend. Made of two sides of the same basic design, the panels are joined on three sides and the top is edged in single crochet. The design of the bag is a strip of three granny squares with textured flowers and rounds. Along both sides of the granny strip are rows made of a variety of stitches to keep you interested. Finishing touches include a loop and wood toggle button closure and a crocheted shoulder strap sewn to the bag sides.
