Cristina D.

I am Cristina, the knitting and crochet designer behind crisdvic.  I live in a beautiful town near Barcelona, where I have my workspace and dedicate myself to a hobby that began in my childhood. I enjoy slow and mindful handicraft work, quick and simple projects, but also challenges.

My inspiration may come from everywhere, but it usually starts from a skein of yarn, a color, and the “someone” (even myself) intended to wear or use the finished craft. I like to mix textures and colors, but usually keeping a soft, relaxing look.

I believe that slow and mindful handicraft work can be a powerful tool for self-expression and stress relief, and I strive to share that joy with you.

The size allows one to carry a 13” computer, without being too big to look like a shopping bag.

Dawn Mosaic Vest

This basic vest pattern is an easy, semi-cropped V-neck knit construction, made by combining two identical rectangles worked side to side and then seamed together. The colors resemble falling leaves falling on a country path while the mosaic pattern and the type of yarns allows for a gradient and textured autumn palette.

Maya Mandala Bag

The Maya Mandala Crochet Bag combines textured stitches and colored lines with subtle accents of glassy beaded yarn to create a one-of-a-kind boho style accessory. Once you’ve finished your bag, use the remaining yarn to make a matching pair of Maya Espadrilles Sandals.

Maya Espadrilles Sandals

Make your own custom espadrilles sandals by crocheting custom uppers with cotton and linen yarn. Since these fibers lack elasticity, they are perfect for creating a shoe that fits and won’t stretch out. Use leftover yarn from the Maya Mandala Bag to make a perfect match.
