Finishing
Divide the strip into thirds and mark the three sections with stitch markers (or safety pins). Take one end of the strip and fold it around to the first stitch marker to create a circle, pin it in place. Wrap the second section around the first section, which will create a circle with 2 layers, pin it in place.
Criss-cross the first and second section of the strip, making sure the second section is on top, approximately every 2½ (3½, 3½)” and pin it in place – 6 criss-crossed pinned sections in total.
Working in the same direction, take the third section and weave it under then over in between the criss-crossed pinned sections.
Once the third section is woven all through the first and second section, sew the end of the first section and the end of the third section together to finish the headband.
