Dear,
Why you never use a graphic or chart or diagram of the triangle itself? For me easier to fallow that the written pattern. Please…..
Charts are available to logged-in Gold Members. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Where is layout diagram?
Charts are available to logged-in Gold Members and will appear as a big blue button at the end of the pattern. Please let me know if you have any questions.
This is a really lovely design! I’m guessing from the close-up photo that it may use the JAYG technique? If so, I think you would made one triangle then begin attaching with the next one.
I haven’t used JAYG before and am wondering if it matters which corner you begin with?
Thanks!
Hi there, according to the pattern notes, you “Attach triangles starting at top row following the diagram.”

Round 3 there is a parenthesis [, but not the ending one]. I don’t understand. Can you explain pease???
Hi Doreen,
Two of the parenthesis were incorrectly copied – the pattern has been updated. Let me know if you have additional concerns.
Thank you,

I feel stupid; how are you supposed to JOIN the triangles? I found the grid for joining – I already figured that was the way, but it is the HOW that I am not sure of.
Me too! I’ve been looking into ways to join designs that are made in pieces like this, and it seems to be a completely separate thing to learn, almost an art. And there are several methods. But I don’t know how to choose the best/correct one.
The instructions for round 3 for “Rest of Triangles” explains the way you can join the pieces together.
I sure am going to start this shawl today. love it. EM
It is such a beautiful shawl–I have always wanted one. And this pattern is perfect. Thank you1
I will be doing this with thread, looking forward to the finished wrap.

Hi Julie – was his post for is 5 years old. Do you offer PDF patterns yet? I joined quite recently and am surprised to have to copy and paste into Word and have to clean up before being able to have the pattern ready.
Hello! At this time we do not offer PDFs of individual patterns. You are welcome to use the print button on the left side of the page to print this pattern. Let me know if you have any other questions, thanks! – Nicola
