Is it possible to scale down this pattern to fit a toddler or even just a child’s size?
Hi Bette – it’s certainly possible with a little trial & error. You could either follow the pattern as written but use a lighter weight yarn (and smaller hook of course); or you could “fit” them to the child as you make them – adjust the number of stitches in each round as well as the number of rounds to make them smaller.
Your mittens looks very lovely

How do you do the thermal single crochet stitch? I have never heard of it. Also what size is the yarn? I may have to substitute different yarn.

Am I missing the thermal stitch instructions somewhere? I don’t see them. Mitts look lovely though.
