Finishing
Place rounded flower on top of pointed flower and place button on top of rounded flower. Position this flower group on hat and sew through all thicknesses.
Optional: Sew flowers individually to hat or create a detachable flower as follows (you may want to sew both flowers and the button together first before adhering to the barrette or hair clip): cut a rounded piece of felt about 1″ (2.5 cm) long and slightly narrower than the flower to be attached. Cut off about ¼ of the felt piece. With the hot glue gun, Glue this small piece to the underside of the flower off-center, center and glue the top side of the barrette/clip to the felt and flower, then glue the larger felt piece to the flower, positioned between the 2 halves of the barrette/clip and covering the top half of the barrette/clip ensuring that the spring can move freely. Weave in ends.
